Queen Road Playspace was identified for revitalisation; comprehensive consultation was undertaken to establish how the play space could better meet community needs.

As a result, we will be delivering:

  • Accessible path linking Queen and Summit Roads
  • Combination Play unit including 2 slides, climbing and monkey bars
  • Double Bay Swing set: Birds Nest swing, 1 flat seat and 1 high back seat
  • Spinner with softfall area
  • Timber log steppers
  • Drinking fountain
  • 2 timber seats with back and arm rests
  • Native shrubs and groundcover plants

This project is currently in construction and is estimated to be completed Sept 2024.
