The proposed upgrade includes the renewal of the Netball Courts spaces to allow for a suitable Netball Training venue to current modern standards which will be multiline marked to allow hardcourt Tennis. Additionally, the lighting to the court areas will be modernised to 250 LUX LED (Australian standards for Tennis Training) with the ability to dim to 200 and 100 LUX LED (Australian standard for Netball competition and Training) and replace the obsolete system.

This project forms part of a grant application, and if successful, the upgrade works will be planned to commence Mid to late 2024. Morrison Recreation Reserve is a local recreation reserve managed by Council for the benefit of local sporting clubs and residents in and the surrounding areas. The project would greatly benefit local reserve users, Yarra Ranges Special Development School, local tennis and the Mount Evelyn Netball Club, who have a large number of teams at the site.
