Yarra Ranges community members are encouraged to attend an online event on Monday, 5 October, to help them build resilience and tackle life’s harder moments.

From Surviving to Thriving is a webinar being held from 7pm-8.30pm on Monday, 5 October, featuring Co-Director of the New Zealand Institute of Wellbeing and Resilience, Dr Lucy Hone.

Dr Hone, drawing on her personal and professional experience, will provide information, tips and evidence-based strategies to help community members build resilience.

Building resilience can help people to better cope when life throws up challenges, whether they’re in the workplace, in the family, or during global events like this year’s pandemic.

Bookings are essential to the webinar. Click here to book.

This event is part of a Local Government Health and Wellbeing Series, organised by EACH, Eastern Regional Libraries, Neami National, City of Kingston, Manningham Council, City of Monash, Whitehorse City Council, Maroondah City Council and Yarra Ranges Council.
