UPDATE 18 March, 2020:

Due to the current COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation in Victoria, VicHealth has postponed the This Girl Can program until further notice.

This means that Council events organised for March under the This Girl Can banner have also been postponed, in line with State and Federal public health advice.

The continued health and wellbeing of community members is, as always, our absolute priority and we recognise the need to minimise close contact with other people and help slow the spread of the virus.

We want to support women in Yarra Ranges through the This Girl Can – Victoria campaign as best we can in these changing circumstances.

We will await information from VicHealth about when new dates for This Girl Can events can be organised.

Until then, we would encourage all community members to try and find opportunities to do physical activity where they can, whether it’s a workout at home or going for a walk.

So, Yarra Ranges has organised absolutely nothing south of Lilydale? What a surprise! After all, that's all the council cares about.
