2021 Australian Liveability Census

Yarra Ranges community members are encouraged to take part in the 2021 Australian Liveability Census, a 15-minute survey that asks residents what they currently like in their neighbourhood, as well as what could be improved.

Three types of data will be collected from the community as part of the survey:

• Community values regarding their 'ideal' neighbourhoods
• Current liveability performance within their neighbourhoods
• Ideas for change to make neighbourhoods more liveable

The survey will provide the Federal Government with information that may help attract funding for important infrastructure projects in the future for Yarra Ranges.
