Council is asking community members for feedback on designs for the Skate and Scooter Park Upgrade at Monbulk Recreation Reserve, Monbulk.
We’ve come up with concept designs for the Skate and Scooter Park at the Monbulk Recreation Reserve, using feedback from community members from July 2020.
The new skate park will keep the existing half pipe and will add features like as a street section, flow area and intermediate bowl.
We’re asking community members to provide feedback on the playspace design and to vote on 4 different element options.
These include: Rail Element, Parking Block, Transition Funbox and Hip Bank.
This feedback will be used to finalise the design of the playspace and confirm either spinning or rocking elements in the final designs.
Once designs have been completed, we’ll program the playspace to be constructed. At the moment, we expect this project to be fully complete by 2022.
