Council is asking community members for feedback on the design for Gateway Reserve playspace in Lilydale.
We’ve come up with concept designs for the playspace renewal at Gateway Reserve, using feedback from community members in our last consultation in 2019.
The new playspace design features include swings, a “combination unit” with slides, which would include a climbing area for children of all ages, rock climbing wall and trampolines.
We’re asking community members to provide feedback on the playspace design and to vote for either rocking or spinning play equipment to be installed in the project.
This feedback will be used to finalise the design of the playspace and confirm either spinning or rocking elements in the final designs.
Once designs have been completed, we’ll program the playspace to be constructed.
Nominate a local sportswoman
We’re looking at including a mural or design of a local sportswoman in the design for this playspace and are encouraging community members to nominate a Yarra Ranges sportswoman, past or present, to be included in the design.
The submissions will be reviewed by our teams before a final decision is made.
This survey should take about five minutes to complete.
