The COVID stage 4 lockdown has ended, however, some modified restrictions remain in place, including limits on social gatherings and wearing masks in some indoor settings, or wherever you can't socially distance.
Koha Café has found ways to keep feeding Warburton bellies and hearts during COVID-19.
Usually on a Thursday night, Koha Café is buzzing with locals eating delicious, nutritious meals in a welcoming environment – all for a donation. Recent government health guidelines meant that Koha’s committed team of volunteers had to find another way to provide 40-80 meals to locals each week. Koha volunteers quickly set up a take away service using compostable containers, providing home-delivered meals to vulnerable people and making left over produce available for locals to collect for free.
“Thank you Koha Community Café for keeping the community spirit strong and supporting so many to stay connected, healthy and happy in this stressful time,” a local resident commented on Facebook.

Yarra Ranges Council respectfully acknowledges the traditional owners, the Wurundjeri people, as the custodians of this land. We pay respect to all Aboriginal community Elders, past and present, who have resided in the area and have been an integral part of the history of the region.
