Request a letter of support to travel to your property

The State Government recently announced changes to allow property owners to travel to their second property to carry out fire preparedness activities, provided they have a Letter of Support from the Council where the second property is located.

Belgrave Outdoor Pool reopening 12 October
Our Water Play Parks are open from 28 September. The Belgrave Outdoor Pool will reopen from 12 October with strict measures in place. All other outdoor pools except Olinda will reopen on 27-28 November, with Olinda reopening on 5 December. Current social distancing rules still apply. Some services have been modified or temporarily cancelled as a result of stage four restrictions. Meals on wheels continues to operate as normal.

Transfer stations temporarily closed
During COVID-19 Stage 4 restrictions, the following applies:
- All Transfer Stations are closed to the public.
- Most transfer stations will remain open for commercial contractors, however reduced operating hours may apply. Please check the relevant Transfer Station website for further details.

Due to Stage 4 COVID19 restrictions, there will be an indefinite delay for hard copy plan requests due to Council Building access.

Parks, playgrounds, outdoor exercise equipment and skateparks are now open.

Outdoor gatherings are limited to 10 people from a maximum of two households.

You must not travel more than 25km from where you live.
