Are you into live music or skate events? Do you dance? How about gaming, film or theatre?

Whatever your ‘thing’ is, FReeZA is here to help you deliver events for other young people in your local area! We are now recruiting people aged between 14-21 who live, study or work in the Yarra Ranges and have an interest in music, events, cultural and community activities.

What is FReeZA?

Yarra Ranges FReeZA program is a Victorian state government funded initiative to deliver music, arts and cultural events for young people. Our events are safe, supervised and drug/smoke/alcohol free.

It’s free to join, however we ask for a 1 year commitment to the program to maximise what you will learn and be able to put into practise. This follows an application and interview process.

Why join FReeZA?

By joining FReeZA you will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn new skills in event management, project planning, leadership, teamwork and communication
  • Get to know the scene of music, events, cultural and community activities
  • Network and meet people in the entertainment industry or an industry of your interest
  • Meet like-minded people
  • Explore future careers
  • Build your resume

When do we meet?

The group meets on Wednesdays from 4pm - 6pm in Yarra Ranges Council's office at 15 Anderson Street, Lilydale from April to November 2019 to learn about event management and get unique hands-on experience planning and delivering a range of events.

How to Apply

If you're interested in applying you'll need to be able to commit to attending at least 80% of the meetings held between March and November, 2019.

Applications close 5th April, 2019.
