Action Plan for 2017-19

The Gender Equity Action Plan 2017-19 (PDF, 2MB) details Yarra Ranges Council’s approach to integrating gender equity considerations across policy, programs and organisational processes.

    Gender equity is embedded in our values, our culture and in policies, processes and practices. 

  2. Our community

    Gender equity principles will be mainstreamed into activities and programs that impact the community. Prevention of violence against women initiatives will be strategic.

    Our employees have the knowledge, skills, motivation and confidence to actively champion gender equity, challenge inequality and lead by example. 

  4. Our leaders

    Our leaders are committed to a gender equitable future where violence against women is prevented.

  5. Our people

    Our People and Culture processes are gender equitable and ensure a fair and supportive working environment for everyone.

  6. Our message

    Our words and actions ensure a strong and consistent message of the importance of a gender equitable environment.
