UPPER YARRA PARTNERSHIP LOGO COL.jpgThe Upper Yarra Partnership seeks to address complex community issues and develop solutions that will achieve long-lasting change. It does this through collaboating with key stakeholders working with children and families across the Upper Yarra.

The Upper Yarra includes: Woori Yallock, Launching Place, Hoddles Creek, Don Valley, Yarra Junction, Gladysdale, Wesburn, Millgrove, Warburton and surrounding townships.

Priority Areas

The Partnerships works across five priority areas:

  • Linking Communities Increasing social connection and transport options for families in isolated communities  
  • Thriving in the Valley:  Reducing the prevalence and impact of family violence on children
  • Linking Families:  Increasing participation in kindergarten, Maternal and Child Health and other early years services    
  • Linking Learning:   Decreasing developmental vulnerability and increasing educational achievement of children
  • Linking Middle Years:  Improving wellbeing in the Middle Years (8-14 year olds)
