Upper Yarra Family Partnership

Upper Yarra Partnership

The Upper Yarra Partnership brings people together from the community, organisations and government to address the complex issues that impact on children and families.

The Upper Yarra Region is an area of natural beauty, however pockets of the Upper Yarra community experience high levels of challenging social and economic circumstances.

Residents are impacted by issues such as a lack of public transport, social isolation and limited access to services. A significant percentage of children in the area are developmentally vulnerable when they start school and the Upper Yarra has the highest rate of family violence referrals in the Eastern Metropolitan Region.

The Upper Yarra Partnership seeks to harness the shared knowledge and wisdom of people who live in the community, professionals and policy makers to develop solutions that will achieve long lasting change.
