COVID Educational Visits for local businesses

COVID Business Support Officers from Yarra Ranges Council will be attending local businesses to provide guidance and information around COVIDSafe practices, including current restriction requirements.

During these educational visits, advice and information will be provided which includes but is not limited to:

  • COVIDSafe Plans
  • Cleaning and sanitising
  • COVID-19 hygiene measures
  • Responding to a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the workplace
  • Business support and mental health resources

The officers are here to support you and your business, they are not visiting to enforce compliance of COVID requirements.

Once you have registered, a COVID Business Support Officer will be in contact to arrange a site visit. This service can also be conducted remotely using Microsoft Teams depending on your preference.

The Small Business Digital Adaptation Program provides $1200 rebates so small businesses can access a range of digital business tools.

The Victorian Government has partnered with 14 suppliers to help you build or upgrade your website, improve your cash flow, start online marketing, manage your jobs and projects, and keep better track of stock.

Small Business Ventilation Program – Ventilation Rebate

Small Business Ventilation Program – Ventilation Rebate

The Ventilation Rebate provides a $500 rebate for public-facing small businesses to undertake immediate actions such as purchasing equipment or hiring a qualified tradesperson to undertake minor services to improve ventilation in areas accessible to customers.

Only one application is permitted per ABN. Applicants must submit separate applications for each of their businesses that operate under different ABNs.

Improving ventilation helps reduce the spread of COVID-19 and provides customers with the confidence that businesses are doing everything they can to keep them safe.
