    Who are the Yarra Ranges councillors?

    There are nine wards in the Yarra Ranges with one councillor elected to represent each. Each November the councillors elect a Mayor and Deputy Mayor.

    You can contact your local councillor to discuss issues and opportunities in your community.

    Billanook ward is represented by Cr Maria McCarthy

    Chandler ward is represented by Cr Jason Callanan

    Chirnside ward is represented by Cr Andrew Witlox

    Why are Council meetings for?

    Council is passionate about open and transparent decision making. Council meetings are held on the second and fourth Tuesday night of the month at 7pm in the Council Chamber, Anderson St, Lilydale.

    Residents are welcome to come along and observe.

    You can also submit questions to the Council, make a submission or speak to an item.
