Friends of Karwarra

What's happening with the Friends

Thanks to all friends for their company at the mid-winter lunch. After delicious helpings of soups and dessert, the Friends enjoyed Marilyn and Geoff's slides of their recent trip to the Northern Territory.

Working bees:
Friends have helped with putting in cuttings and the nursery section is looking quite promising. Other Friends have again helped with working bees to keep the garden looking good. Major work has started on the new entrance and we are seeing extensive changes happening at Karwarra. Please let Regan know on 9728 4256 or email Karwarra Office if you can help with any of these tasks or with the weekend roster.

Although no entrance fee applies at present, help is still appreciated in taking plant sales and introducing visitors to the garden.

Thanks to:
Dick Wallace for keeping Friends in touch through the newsletter;
Margaret Kofod and Jean Galliot for continuing their challenging task of stocktaking the Karwarra collection.
