Sex
during and after pregnancy You may find that your interest in sex changes during pregnancy. Some women find that their sex drive increases, others can lose interest in sex all together. There is no physical reason for you to avoid sex during pregnancy unless you have had previous problems such as miscarriages or premature labour, or if you have experienced bleeding, in which case your doctor or midwife may advise you not to have sex. If you can’t have sex or don’t want to, remember there are many other ways of expressing your love (kissing, stroking, caressing, body massage etc).
