Have you had unprotected sex?
If you’re sexually active, an unplanned pregnancy is one thing that might always be in the back of your mind.
Using effective contraception every time is important. But sometimes it doesn’t work out that way.
If for any reason you have had unprotected sex, you are at particular risk of falling pregnant, so speak to your school nurse, your pharmacist or your doctor as soon as possible.
They can discuss the options available to you, which might include the “morning after pill”.
| Unprotected
sex is when you have sex without any form of contraception or when the contraception fails, for example, broken condom or missed pill. |
