The Museum is open 7 days, 10am - 4pm, excluding public holidays.

Getting Here

The Yarra Ranges Regional Museum is located at 35-37 Castella St, Lilydale VIC 3140. It is less than an hour from Melbourne by train or car.

From Melbourne
When you reach Main St, Lilydale take a left turn down Castella St and the Museum will be on your left.

Accessibility

The Museum building including exhibitions, café and facilities is fully accessible.

Bookings & Enquiries

Car Parking

The Museum does not have designated car parking facilities for visitors, however most street parking around the building is free of charge. Please check time limits for street parking outside the Museum and in nearby streets.

Gift Shop

The Yarra Ranges Regional Museum Gift Shop is packed with a delightful range of merchandise that perfectly complements the heritage, artefacts and stories that are featured in the Museum.  A range of unique products is available for purchase from local handcrafted items to custom designed jewellery, home wares, badges, stationery and more. Special items featuring key historical characters and places are a feature of the shop, including a stunning Dame Nellie Melba cushion and a selection of magnets based on vintage Sanitarium Weetbix trading cards.
