Monbulk Aquatic Centre Redevelopment Project

The Monbulk Aquatic Centre is now CLOSED for redevelopment from the 31/12/2011.

Construction of the 14 month project commenced mid January 2012.

The redevelopment includes the instillation of a new 25m pool with wet deck, a new program & leisure pool, and new female & male change rooms. Also as part of the redevelopment, the facility will receive a new entry & administration area,  a new gymnasium and  minor refurbishment of the existing gym into  a multi-purpose room.

The $8.5m project is jointly funded by the Yarra Ranges Council, State and Federal Government.

Please Note: The Monbulk Aquatic Club and all aquatic classes have been relocated to the Yarra Centre in Yarra Junction.

Centre Information

The Monbulk Aquatic Centre is located in Baynes Park.

Other recreation opportunities within the reserve include a sportsfield, walking trails, playground and bushland areas.
