Common Name: Creamy Stackhousia

Size: 10-30cm x 10-30cm
Description: Erect perennial herb branching at base from taproot.
Leaves: Narrow erect pointed dark green leaves 10-30mm x 1-3mm, often scattered along stem.
Flowering: Candle-like terminal spike of single small tubular flowers. Flowers perfumed, especially at night.
Flower Colour: Cream
Flowering Time: August to January
Growing Conditions: Moist to dryish well drained soils in open forests and woodlands. Frost tolerant. Semi-shade.
Garden Use: Usually not noticed until it flowers. Can form spreading patches. Attractive for small gardens, cottage gardens and rockeries.
