Common Name: Trailing Goodenia

Size: Prostrate x 0.5-1.5m
Description: Trailing herb, rooting at nodes. Silver-grey hairs on stems.
Leaves: Downy dark green egg-shaped leaves, broader towards tip, basal leaves 1-8cm x 5-20mm, margins toothed, base tapering, stem leaves smaller.
Flowering: Single flowers on long jointed stalks, in leaf axils, sometimes terminal sprays.
Flower Colour: Yellow
Flowering Time: October to December
Growing Conditions: Well drained soils in forests and heathy woodlands. Full sun to semi shade.
Garden Use: Attractive trailing plant for rockeries, containers, hanging baskets. Plant under established trees. Tolerates dry periods once established. Does not form a dense mat.
