Common Name: Swamp Goodenia
Synonym:
Family: Goodeniaceae
Size: 5-20cm x 0.5-1.5m
Description: Erect tufted perennial herb suckering to form a carpet.
Leaves: Basal tuft of narrow to lance-shaped leaves, broader towards tip with long tapering base 4-10cm x 4-8mm, toothed or entire. Few small stem leaves.
Flowering: Branched terminal leafy sprays of flowers to 12mm across, equal to or slightly longer than leaves, flowers downy on outside.
Flower Colour: Yellow
Flowering Time: November to March
Growing Conditions: Moist to wet soils beside watercourses and swamps. Full sun.
Garden Use: A dainty little herb for moist sunny spots such as beside pools and dams.
