Size: Prostrate
Description: Dense creeping perennial herb spreading by roots from leaf nodes to form mats.
Leaves: Hairy kidney-shaped leaves 5-25mm x 5-30mm, often notched at the tip. Stalks 10-50mm long.
Flowering: Single tiny flowers on stalks 10-60mm long.
Flower Colour: Green
Flowering Time: September to December
Growing Conditions: Widespread in well drained soils in moist to dry forests. Frost tolerant. Partial to full shade.
Garden Use: Excellent ground cover creating a dense mat in moist shady areas. Can be used as a grass alternative in light traffic areas.
