Common Name: Furze Hakea
Synonym:

Size: 1-3m x 1-2m
Description: Rigidly erect shrub with downy branchlets.
Leaves: Narrow leaves twisted 90 degrees at base, 3-18cm x 1.5-4mm, flat to 3-sided, 1-3 prominent longitudinal veins.
Flowering: Clusters of 6-18 flowers. Fruit - oval, shortly beaked, to 25mm.
Flower Colour: Creamy-white
Flowering Time: August to September
Growing Conditions: Dry to moist well drained soil in forests. Frost and snow tolerant. Full sun, partial shade
Garden Use: Interesting landscape feature planted as a group.
