Common Name: Blunt-leaf Heath

Size: 1-2m x 0.6-1.5m
Description: Narrow erect shrub with hairy branchlets.
Leaves: Crowded erect oblong leaves 5-12mm x 2-3mm, with a blunt incurved tip.
Flowering: Narrow tubular perfumed flowers in axils of upper branchlets, tube longer than calyx.
Flower Colour: White
Flowering Time: September to November
Growing Conditions: Moist soil in swampy woodland. Partial sun.
Garden Use: A floriferous erect shrub for small gardens, cottage gardens, shaded rockeries and containers.

Conservation Status: Significant within the Shire. Known from very few local sites. More common outside the Shire boundary.
