Weekly Garbage Collection
Each residential property in the Yarra Ranges has a weekly garbage collection. Below you'll find information on when it is collected, what you can and can't put in your bin, how to get your bin fixed and what to do if you want an additional bin.
When will it be collected?
The garbage bin is emptied weekly on the same day each week. To check when your bins are emptied please use your Residential Recycling & Waste Guide, enter your address on our online mapping service or call us on 1300 368 333 to display your collection day. If your bin is not collected after 4pm on your collection day please contact us. Collections occur at all times of the year, including public holidays.

- liquids, hazardous or chemical waste, paints, pesticides, oils or solvents
- timber, bricks, ribble or building renovation materials

Missing or Broken Bin
Please contact us and we'll arrange to have your bin fixed or replaced.
Change Your Bin Size or Order An Additional Bin
Did you know that we offer a 120L or 80L rubbish bins? Please contact us if you would like to change the size of your bin. For an extra charge, you can also receive an additional bin if necessary. Please visit our Waste Service Charges page for more information on additional bins and bin sizes.
