Trees on Nature Strips & Roadside Reserves
Please let us know if you have concerns about safety and roadside trees. To report a dead or dangerous tree on a nature strip or roadside reserve please complete the online form below.
What we do once we've received your request
- We'll send you a letter confirming your request. It will include the request reference number.
- An arborist will inspect the tree and prepare a detailed report with the recommended action.
- Please note: Due to the number of inspections conducted throughout our municipality you will not receive details of the final decision, however you are welcome to contact our Community Link staff on 1300 368 333 to query the outcome (quoting the reference number provided on your acknowledgement letter).
- If the decision is made to prune the tree, we'll organise to have that done as soon as possible (usually 4-6 weeks). Any urgent removal will be carried out immediately. Dead trees are only removed if they are found to pose a danger. If they are not considered dangerous they are retained for habitat for wildlife.
