Disability Advisory Committee

DAC 2012 – 2014

The Committee will provide advice to Council on access and inclusion which will inform the design and delivery of Council services and the development of infrastructure which supports our goal of an active, engaged and involved community.

The DAC is chaired by Cr Len Cox with Cr Jeanette McRae as deputy with quarterly meetings.

Committee members on the Disability Advisory Committee (DAC) represent people with disabilities; their advocates; carers and have the relevant skills and experience to make valuable contributions on behalf of their Committee.

The DAC is a key strategy of the The Yarra Ranges Council's Disability Action Plan 2009-2012 which defines Council’s strategic direction for enhancing accessibility and inclusiveness for all residents across the municipality.
