Applications Referred to Council Meetings
Planning permit applications are sometimes decided by the Council at a formal Council Meeting. Council meetings are held on the second and fourth Tuesday each month.
Before the Council considers each application there is an opportunity for one person representing objectors to the proposal, and one person representing the applicant to speak to the Council. All presentations must be kept to five minutes.
If you would like to support your presentation with photos or other documents, we can display photos on large screens via an overhead projector, or you can supply a disk with photos in JPEG format. Please contact Corporate Support on 9294 6118 to make the necessary arrangements for your presentation. If you are providing your photos on a disk please remember we need the disk before 4pm the day of the Council meeting.
