Transfer of Food, Health or Accommodation Premises

If you are taking over a current food, health or accommodation business you can transfer that business registration rather than apply for a new registration.

To be eligible the business must:

• not be closed
• have a current food, health or accommodation registration

Pre-Transfer Inspection and Report

If required, a pre-transfer inspection and report by a Health Officer can be arranged prior to taking over a business.  To arrange for an inspection you need to:

• Complete the Transfer Inspection and Report Form (with authorisation of current business operators)
• Fee

Transfer of Registration

 To transfer a registration of existing business you need to:

• Have current council Registration Number
• Complete Transfer Form (see table)
• Fee (see table)
• Attached Documentation (see application)
