Termites

As Yarra Ranges is designated an area where buildings are likely to be infested by termites, any building work, with the exceptions of garages, car-ports and non-habitable outbuildings, must be protected against termites in accordance with Australian Standards.

As the Building Code only requires you to do the minimum to protect your house against termites you may consider what additional protection you can use.
