| Museum Takes on the Region | | The Shire of Yarra Ranges is developing a first-class regional museum. The enormous project includes new building works, developing collections representing the history of the entire region, and a host of innovative exhibitions and events.
While this transformation is taking place, the museum building will be closed to the public. Instead, over the next 18 months, museum events will come to you, delivering and collecting stories that celebrate our past.

"Celebrations!" is a collection of images and stories gathered from across the Shire, launching the latest Museum program, Memory Bank.

Memory Bank is a digital museum collection in the making!
As we collect your photos and stories, the Museum will build up a fantastic visual record of the region's life and times. These images will then be stored in the Museums photographic collection.
Soon we will invite you to bank copies of your photos for the next theme, "My Life, My Yarra Ranges" and the stories that go with them.
