Mooroolbark Community Centre is located in the heart of Mooroolbark surrounded by parklands and close to public transport. The Centre, established for over 27 years, caters for the performing, visual arts and lifestyle interests of the community in a creative atmosphere.

Within the Centre is the Red Earth Gallery, which exhibits art all year round including shows open to the public. The Centre has a theatre, art, sculpture and meeting rooms. The Mooroolbark Community Centre provides quality and enjoyable arts and cultural programs for our diverse community.

2009 Workshop Program
The Mooroolbark Community Centre offers a fantastic range of workshops at very reasonable prices. The July to December program features all the regular workshops plus a few new editions. If you've ever wanted to explore your creative side, or further develop your skills, we have a course for you!!

Clay Sculpture, Art 4 Kids, Landscape Painting, Pottery, Jazz and Tap Dance, Limestone Sculpture and Folk and Decorative Art

Weekend Intensives
Welcome to the second series of weekend intensives offered at the Mooroolbark Community Centre and Montrose Town Centre.

Following the success of the first series, we have programmed another collection of inspiring workshops designed to engage creative people with a diverse range of unique and fascinating arts opportunities.

There are workshops for all levels of experience, so whether you want to expand your horizons, refine your craft, explore your creative urges or perhaps just don’t have time to commit to regular workshops, then there is something for you.

We hope you enjoy the program.
 
TOM Theatre Workshops

WHO IS TOM?
FREE physical theatre workshops for young dancers and actors (aged 18-25) with the purpose of developing a cast for an upcoming performance project, ‘Tom’; a live performance project involving dance, theatre, animation and music. Workshops will be held at Mooroolbark Community Centre starting in November.
