Home and a beautiful part of the world is how Cr Graham Warren describes the Yarra Ranges with its ideal balance of urban and rural lifestyle.

Graham believes we need to manage future changes to ensure that smaller communities are supported, the rural sector and the right to farm is protected and the environment sensibly managed.

During his term as a Councillor, Graham wants to see improvements in sport and recreation facilities, roads and drainage. A keen local sportsman Graham sees recreation facilities and the community life that centres around them as important to keeping the heart in local communities and contributing to each individual community's sense of identity.

Among Graham's many favourite places in the Yarra Ranges are the views from the R J Hamer Arboretum and Olinda golf course, the vistas on the drive up to Healesville and the environment around his favourite fishing spots along the upper reaches of the Yarra River. In addition to involvement in Silvan football and cricket clubs Graham spends his spare time gardening and looking after his greyhounds.
