Council Plan
The Council Plan is Council’s guiding document. It sets out our strategic direction and details our key priorities and the actions we will undertake over a four year period. It also says how these activities will be resourced and how our performance will be measured. Importantly, it demonstrates our contribution to achieving Yarra Ranges’ community vision, Vision 2020.
Seeking community feedback on the Council Plan
Following an election Council is required to prepare a new Council Plan. In order to include the input of our communities into the new plan, a comprehensive community engagement was undertaken. This process captured the views of more than 1,500 people across Yarra Ranges. The new draft Council Plan has now been prepared and responds to the feedback received, it also details the organisation’s commitment to the pursuit of continuous improvement and excellence. It shows our intent to deliver great service to our communities with a focus on financial sustainability.
Council is now seeking feedback on the draft Council Plan 2013-2017. The draft document can be downloaded via the link to the right of this page or copies are available at Council's Community Links.
