Q. Do I need insurance for my event?
Yes. If you are holding an event where a number of people are present, you will need to cover both yourselves as organisers, and the organisation you represent to ensure that the public are covered. You will be required to have cover up to $10m when booking any public hall or open space. This should also include cover for property and equipment.
